So many pink pushchairs to choose from! This is a guide to those available with some of the features parents look, for such as rear facing, travel system, adjustable handle or simply as cheap as possible.
The Best Pink Prams and Buggies
The more expensive strollers are usually made from high quality materials and designed to last well. They typically have better suspension and durability. Users can also expect adjustable handle heights. For a single buggy these are priced at around £300 to £400 in the UK, shopping around result in quite a saving for any model.
Parent facing buggies usually offer the option to face the direction of travel or to the rear and the first three pink strollers listed below will face both ways. Most of the pink buggies mentioned are suitable from birth because they offer a lay flat position.
Bugaboo: Pink Bee Stroller
This light weight, high quality, compact buggy can be forward or rear facing and weighs less than 8kg (17lb) with folded dimensions of 88cm x 43cm x 31cm (35" x 17" x 12"). Its unfolded width is 52cm or 20". It retails in the US from about $500 and in the UK from £400. The Bugaboo Bee can form an optional travel system with the Maxi Cosi CabrioFix seat. The Buzz Roller weighs 13kg and can be part of a complete travel system with the Maxi Cosi CabrioFix seat.

The clips for attaching a Maxi Cosi CabrioFix seat are, however, extra. This buggy is forward facing and is available in the UK from £300. There is also double Mimi available.
Traditional Pink Prams
Baby Style in the UK produces a range of old style prams with big wheels and a big basket underneath. They are not entirely old fashioned but combine modern design. The prams may:
- adapt to face the front and rear,
- form a travel system with a car seat,
- have adjustable handle heights
- include accessories
- convert to a pushchair when the baby is ready for sitting.
- Be available in a Twin model.
The fabrics can be funky too. Baby Style currently produce a white leatherette, for example, backed with a variety of colours including pink. Baby Style prams are good value for money for those on tight budgets.
Cheap Pink Strollers
For those looking for a budget pushchair, cheap strollers do not usually offer the full range of features, they are almost always forward facing with fixed position handles. They are often more difficult to push but they serve a function in being a cheaper option and a useful second pushchair for occasional use.
The budget pink pushchairs suggested below are not the cheapest, they retail for between £75 to £135 in the UK. They all offer a wide range of features including detachable hoods, shopping baskets and lockable swivel wheels. They are all forward facing and weigh around 7 kg. Raincovers and foot muffs may be included:
- Cosatto Swift Supa Lite Pushchair: The "Say Hello" and "Cute as a Button" pushchairs, £130 in UK. Cosatto are known for bright twin buggies.
- Mamas and Papas Beat Buggy in Pink: £75in UK.
- Chicco Pink Liteway Stroller: £80 in UK.
- Hauck Capri Pink & Black Pushchair: £135 in UK.
The Hauck Capri is possibly the cheapest pink pushchair with an adjustable handle height.
Choosing a Pink Pushchair or Pram for Girls
Many parents prefer to have the baby or toddler facing the rear when travelling. There is research to suggest that this is ideal for children and rear facing stroller are growing in popularity.
Strollers which can fit a car seat on top are very popular. Called travel systems, these enable baby to be moved from the car without disturbance.
More Pink Strollers
There are many cheaper brand pink pushchairs to chose from including Hauck, Chicco, Cosatto and Mamas & Papas. Of the more expensive prams and strollers there are fairly few in pink but they are available, currently from AirBuggy, Quinney, Bugaboo and Petite Star.
