The Vtech MobiGo, launched in 2010, is the new handheld portable game system for children, those who are too young for a nintendo DS. It looks like a cross between a mobile phone and other small hand held electronic games and it combines touch screen play with the traditional keypad. To date there are only a hand full of software cartridges available but more are likely to follow.
Vtech Games Cartridges for Preschoolers and Children Aged 5 or 6
The cartridges sell for $20 in the US and £17 in the UK. Each usually has about five or six games with different levels of difficulty available.
Children are likely to want games which feature their favourite characters whether it be a Disney princess, fairy or car, Shrek, Ben 10 or the Penguins of Madagascar.
